We are happy to announce the
birth of Emma
Elise Koontz! Emma was born to Josh and Daniella Koontz on July 25th,
2008 in Deland, Florida. She weighed 8lbs, 10oz, and measured 19.5 inches
long. Emma was also welcomed to the world by her big sister Lillian and
her paternal grandparents Steve and
Cathy Koontz; and her maternal grandparents, Brent and Karen Dorsey
from Moorefield, WV.

Lillian Oleigh Scherer born on October 11th, 2007. She
weighed 7 lbs., 13 oz. Lillian is Tom Thompson's second
granddaughter.

William and Norma Thompson
celebrate their 60th Wedding Anniversary!
William and Norma were
married June 4, 1947 in Philippi, West Virginia. William retired from
Firestone with 35 years service. Norma retired from the City of Akron. They
have three children, six grandchildren, one great-grandchild and another on
the way. Congratulations! Love from Tom, Chuck, Carol and families.

Dale Chappelear born at 9:00am on July 9th, 2007 in London, England. She
weighed 8 lbs., 3 oz. and was 21.5 inches long. Zoe is Tom Thompson's first
granddaughter.

Amanda Devers. Maxwell Devers was born in December of 2005. Their first
grandson, Jake Devers was born on May 5th, 2003.

Paul & Carol Jean Leffew have
renovated the Thompson home that was originally lived in by James & Iris
Thompson on Mt. liberty in Philippi, West Virgina during the summer of 2004.
They plan to reside there in the summers.
