Alex and his broken foot

So - here's the story - we were on the Cape May/Lewes Ferry Sunday coming home from a weekend in Atlantic City of relaxing and hanging out at the pool at the new Fairfield Skyline Tower with my mom.

 

We were walking to the lower level to get back in the 4 Runner when I tripped over a bump in the deck and fell onto Alex.  He wouldn't let us touch it or even take off his socks, then he said he couldn't walk on it.

 

Long story short - he has two broken bones on the top of his left foot.  They put a fiberglass cast on it to help it heal faster and so he can eventually walk on it with the cast.  The cast should come off in about 3-4 weeks.

 

I'm attaching a picture of him looking angry because he didn't want his picture taken.

 

It's official "I BROKE HIM" - he still says I'm a good mommy though!!

 

He's fine - just a little sore right now when he tries to walk - but otherwise, okay.
