Colin's Trifle Dessert

INGREDIENTS
1 Pound Cake
1 Large Tub Cool Whip
1 Large Instant Vanilla Pudding
1 Cup Blueberries
1 Cup Blackberries
1 Cup Raspberries
1 Cup Strawberries
Raspberry Preserves

Mix all the fruit together and sprinkle with sugar. Let set a while for berries to absorb sugar. This is optional, it keeps the fruit from being too tart.

Make the pudding according to directions and set aside.

Slice the pound cake in 1 in. slices, spread raspberry preserves generously on each slice.

In a trifle bowl, layer as follows:

Pound Cake, Pudding, Berries, Cool Whip

Repeat and Garnish with extra berries on top.


Carol's Salisbury Steak

INGREDIENTS
1 Pound ground sirloin or ground round
3/4 Cup Plain Bread crumbs
1 Egg
1 Can French onion soup
1 Jar Beef gravy
 

Mix meat, bread crumbs, egg & ½ of the onion soup. Form into thick patties and fry until done, Drain. Add the rest of French onion soup & jar of Beef gravy.

Simmer 20 minutes.

 


 Carol's Bean Casserole

INGREDIENTS:
½ Pound Hamburger
1 Pound Bacon
1 Onion
1 (16oz.) Pork & Beans
1 (16oz.) Butter Beans (Drain)
1 (16oz.) Kidney Beans (Drain)
1/3 Cup Brown Sugar
1/3 Cup Sugar
1/4 Cup Barbecue Sauce
1/4 Cup Ketchup
1 TBSP Mustard
1 TBSP Molasses or Dark Syrup

Brown hamburger, bacon and onion. Drain. Add rest of ingredients; cover and bake 1 hour at 350°.


Daniella's Chocolate Nut Dessert
This recipe tastes like peanut brittle with a scrumptious pie-like crust.

INGREDIENTS:
Saltines
2 sticks butter
1 cup sugar
1 bag chocolate chips
1 bag chopped nuts
1 cup sugar

Put butter and sugar in pot and boil until foaming. Line tray with foil and spray with Pam cooking spray. Pour foam over 1 layer of Saltine crackers. Put in 350° oven for 10  minutes. Spread bag of chocolate chips over dish, hot out of the oven so that it melts. Sprinkle chopped nuts on top of dessert.


Sesame Chicken With Broccoli 

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup chicken breast; skinned boned & cut into
1 cup chicken seasoning
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon ginger root; minced
2 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
1/2 cup onion; chopped
5 tablespoon orange juice; concentrate
1/4 cup water
1 lb broccoli; coarsely chopped
1 lemon


Combine all ingredients except broccoli and lemon in bowl, cover and marinated for at least 30 minutes. Heat wok or skillet over medium heat heat. Stir-fry chicken mixture and  broccoli for 15 minutes or until broccoli is just tender. Do not overcook.
